Google's serp

Hello Guys !

I will appreciate if you will share your thoughts re the situation i have. The homepage for one of my sites is one last page of google's serp, although internal pages are displayed in the top 10.

1. Why ?
2. What should I do to correct the situation with the homepage ?

It's pretty much impossible to answer such a broad question like this without knowing the URL of the website and what keyword phrase you're trying to rank for on the home page, Webdeal.

Yes you are right this is a "broad" question , but may be you can give just a few ideas / hints...what can cause the problem ?

1. inner pages could be more relevant

2. your homepage might have a penalty, where only about and inner pages (or even privacy pages) rank and the homepage can't be found at all

3. Content on the homepage is flash (longshot but it happens)

You need to know the reason first so you have to look at your site and analyse what could cause it.

Again, it depends (lots of answers in the SEO world is like that lol)  It depends on what type of penalty you have but one thing is for sure, you have to remove bad links you've done before (if it's indeed a link penalty) or you need to clean up your site structure .
