Page 1 Rankings - No Conversions

So here is a basic fundamental question.  If I have page 1 rankings (ranked between 1 & 10) in Google, Bing and Yahoo for highly competitive keywords.  With the most high value keywords ranked between 1 and 3, why am I receiving hardly any conversions?  I am targeting a specific city, so I don't expect 50 form submissions a day, but 1 or two a month???  Please, somebody help me understand what I am missing?  I can definitely send you privately the link to my site.

I think you are right.

If you came in here saying that you researched prices, studied the strategies of your competitors, the prices they are selling at, told us what you are selling, what keywords you are targeting, if you tested your buy buttons, told us what you shopping cart abandonment rate was, how much you are charging for shipping....  all of this stuff and a lot more is really important.

So, go back and study these things and see if you learn anything.  If its still a mystery and you know a lot about the products you are selling and the people who buy them then it is going to be really hard for anyone else to do anything but guess.
