Can anyone recommend a good online course or a good book to learn PPC?

Any recommendations? I can work out the basics, but I could do with really learning this stuff..

I'm not fussed if the book is print or ebook, or whether it's an online course.

For books, I have read Advanced Google Adwords by Brad Geddes twice and learned from it both times.  Probably learned more during the second reading.

Also, the best two days that I have spent at any meeting was at his "Adwords Seminars for Success".

I know that you were looking for "online" but he does travel and do these seminars in many cities each year - perhaps one within driving distance of you.

The seminars were not easy.  They teach you that Adwords is really a mathematics game and you must know your costs and your conversion rate in great detail and be willing to spend a lot of time calculating with spreadsheets.

He also does a great job of teaching you about how to improve quality scores.

I pay attention to other people when I attend this type of training and lots of the people who attended thought that they would sit there, drink coffee, fart and go home a genius.  They didn't stay for the entire training.  They got blown away by the math.  The people who got the most out of it and the ones who stayed to the end of the second day were the ones who had the math discipline to use spreadsheets, calculate and think hard.

I've just looked for a UK based course, and at the moment, he has nothing planned. There is one in Germany but I can't justify the cost or the trip at the moment - maybe in 6 months...

However, I'll take a look at the book.
