Has anyone seen this before? One domain dominates the entire first page!

Do a google search for "sober college" and tell me you don't see the entire page filled with one domain. (except the last result)
-
Not like that for me.
i am seeing different. probably region differences
and yes it is possible. if you search for the exact company/site name.
-
I am not seeing the same as you but I have seen it before when doing a product search and just got pages of Amazon results.
I think it is a glitch in the Google algorythem because they would not want to show results from just one site even if they were the most popular.

I've had it happen with one of my clients. Whilst they were excited, I told them A) It wasn't a good thing, and B) It wasn't going to last.
It  probably took about 2 weeks before the google algorithm made some changes and it ended up with just one or two entries on the 1st page.

If it ever happens again, rush to you client and demand a bonus... before Google fixes it!

-
Possibly the best advice I have seen on SEOmoz
"If it ever happens again, rush to you client and demand a bonus"
-
Wish we could claim it as a client, then we would definitely report it and ask for a raise! Â LOL
It's most definitely a regional thing, as we changed the Search Tools location to other areas and it varied the results slightly, but I wonder if this really is a glitch or if that site is doing something we should be, or if it's just a temporary result.
It was just shocking to see almost an entire page of one domain. Â Almost like their "site links" were converted into actual results.
Thanks for the responses!
