      For example:

Raven stopped use of scraped Google, SEMRush data on Jan. 2

Raven stopped offering unauthorized Google SERP rankings and keyword data (a.k.a. scraped Google data) on Jan. 2, 2013. The change included the retirement of the SERP Tracker and the elimination of SEMRush data from the Raven platform.

Raven has released new SEO performance reports that make it easy to show clients the impact of campaigns to improve organic traffic. Raven will continue to upgrade reports through the year.

We thank the many customers who continue their business with Raven.

More details about the SEO performance reports and other recent releases are available

Is SEOMoz protected in some way?  Or will you have to give up rankings reports too?

I don't know about SEOMoz, but I see that ahrefs.com is also gonna retire their Keywords Analysis tool this month and the reason they give is:

"We decided to stop paying for scraped data as it violates Google's Terms of Service and puts our service on shaky ground nowadays. Without new data our Keywords Analysis will soon grow old and become useless**."**

But, their other tools such as Site Explorer, Backlinks Explorer, Competition Analysis etc. are all gonna be functional. So, I believe it will be same for SEOMoz as well and they will make changes to only such tools that are directly effected by Google's update with relation to what they deem to be "scraped data".

          Hi Kathy,

Raven made a decision to stop showing ranking reports on their own, I don't believe they had to give them up (as far as I know). We currently don't have any plans on changing our services, but we did recently ask folks to help us understand what data is most necessary for them: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/which-data-matters-most-to-marketers-take-the-survey. It'd be great if you could fill that out as well. 🙂

          Thanks!

          Jen
