Who is the best in the UK for affiliate marketing?

We are a new business and after spending our budget on a useless link building company for our sins we have decided to look at the option of affiliate marketing.

We have looked at several companies and the prices range from £60-£400 per month!

I would really appreciate any information in regards to who you have had experience/success/failure with.
