What is the most effective way to keep spam out of twitter

When using twitter for business how to we prevent phishing and spamming issues, or at least minimize them

Do you mean preventing your account from being hijacked? - Have a strong password. Maybe enable geolocation (in case account gets hijacked, can use it as evidence).

Not sure how else phishing/spamming fits in with twitter.
