Blogger Outreach - have you used this service before?
-
Hi,
Has anyone used blogdash.com before?
It says it has over 100,000 blog owners registered, which does sound good but when you look at the sites own social following its very poor and when you start to dig a little deeper you can find blog owner profiles like this:
http://www.blogdash.com/blogger/ari-herzog
First view, you think Ari Herzog has signed up to Blog Dash and you can pitch him content for blogs such as Huffington Post and Mashable, took about 10 seconds to realise he isn't actually part of the network as the yellow box is asking him to signup if he ever finds that page.
Has anyone used this service? I can imagine 2% out of the 100,000 are actually members who have signed up.

Hi there,
Nope, I haven't heard of it and I'd highly suggest you stay away from it.
You need to do this all manually.
Identify the blogs you wish to be on. Build that relationship. Build that trust. Earn the link.
An excellent article was posted here yesterday - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/the-blogger-outreach-equation
I dropped a comment on it as well. I'd suggest you read the article and take note of the points. Forget about using anything that makes things easy.
I hope this helps. Need any other help then just shout.

Thanks for the reply,
I had a read and some good points.
I don't think all blogging services are bad, I do use MyBlogGuest and have been for a few years now - works really well.
You can read Rand's post here on MyBlogGuest - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/4-valuable-link-building-services

I'd still be slightly cautious. That blog post is two years old. A lot has changed in two years about the success of such tools.
I would still highly suggest you follow the tips in that other article and earn the link.
