Why do Google+ review not show on my profile?

A customer of mine has kindly written a review on our business via Google+

I have checked and the review does not show on the Google+ profile.

He let me have his log in details and I can see he has left the review.  Its set up public and to show in all his circles.

We have seen it once on our account but cannot make it show anymore.

Does Google not show reviews if you only have 1 or could these be another problem?

I am having the same issue, there are a lot of threads where people are talking about it.

Bit of a pain, they want us to be social and use their new Google+ system but it seems to not work!!!

I know. Frustrating at times. Anyways, one more thing, kinda unrelated but I'd recommend being cautious of is not logging in to Google+ from the reviewers account from the same computer/IP that you use for the main place page account. If you think about it, it screams of a fake/manipulated review. You know what I mean....better to be safe then sorry.

Totally agree normally would do that but thought too about that after the event =-(

Hi James,

It's important to know that it can take weeks for Google+ reviews to show up on your profile. And, if they are filtered out because Google thinks there is something spammy about them, they may not show up at all. If you saw the review appear and then disappear, I would suspect that it has been filtered out by Google - very frustrating.

If the review appeared and disappeared, unfortunately, it's probably gone for good. So, this leaves you with a couple of options.

1. List your complaint in the Google and Your Business Forum thread that I talk about in that SEOmoz piece I've linked to, above.

2. Try to figure out what happened. Was there anything at all about your customer's review that could have triggered the trouble?
