Social Media Management

Hi,

Hope everyones well.

I have quite a few accounts to manage now, and I am finding it difficult to keep track and stay active on all of them (plus the millions of email notifications I have to have on!)

Which tools do you use to manage your social media accounts, and why did you choose to use that one?

It would be great to get some replies from agencies that have a lot of accounts, or individuals that manage lots of accounts.

I would be interested in both paid and non-paid solutions.

P.S. Anyone know what SEOmoz or Distilled use? (if any).

My favourite that we have used here at the office quite often is hootsuite. (http://hootsuite.com/)

The free version is excellent (barely any reasons to buy the paid versions imo), and once you setup all your social media accounts, multi-posting is a real breeze. Basically on Mondays I can set up all social media messages that I want to go out for that week.

Also, are you aware that SEOMoz has a social section for each of your campaigns? It's a nice and quick way to see how your social media accounts are doing.

There is a few free ones like Hootsuite, Twitter etc

But if you are looking for something to manage lots of accounts then id check out http://sproutsocial.com/

I use a combination of Sproutsocial and Hootsuite.  I use hootsuite because I love the columned interface and the easy ability to switch between accounts/post to multiple accounts, etc.  I really like SproutSocial because of the data that it comes with, and the charts and graphs look really nice which is great for reporting.   Hootsuite has it's own reports, but they cost $50 to run each one, which is kind of ridiculous in my personal opinion.   I then use other random tools here and there, like BufferApp so I can post articles to accounts on the go.

I will try those two out, might end up using a combination as you all seem to be doing that.
