Can anyone recommend a preferably free (or very low cost) Facebook Ad Manger?

We manage a few clients Facebook ad campaigns at quite a low spend, and are simply looking for a centralized platform from which to manage these accounts. Ive done quite a bit of research and most results are for companies with a large spend.

      Any recommendations? Thanks!

        Hi eXia,

This probably isn't the answer you're hoping for but Facebook is a relatively new platform. Given that, even the big ad automation SaaS providers with millions in funding (Kenshoo, Marin Software, Acquisio and others) have just recently in the last year or so launched worthwhile toolsets for managing Facebook ads at scale. I think you will need to be in a higher spend tier to get to a point where it makes sense to use a 3rd party tool for managing your Facebook ads. That goes for Paid Search as well.

I personally have not seen any free third party tools for managing Facebook ads.

We use Kenshoo and have had a great experience with them on both the Paid Search and Facebook ads.

Here are the minimums I can remember for the tools I've heard of/used:

Kenshoo: not sure the min on social, but to make the pricing worhtwhile, you'll need to be spending deep 5 figures on Facebook monthly

        Marin Software: $20k

        Acquisio: $10k min

SearchManager (a joint venture btwn American Express and Clickable. A strange union, I know.): I'm not too familiar with this product but they do appear to integrate with Facebook and the pricing starts at $150/month/5% of spend whichever is higher.

It would also help to know: what you are hoping to get out of the tool that you plan to use?

Thanks for your reply KTaylor. It's helpful to verify that free third party tools for managing Facebook ads are not easy to find, if they do exist at all.

Yes, at the moment our monthly spend it restricting us from engaging with the businesses you've recommended. Thanks none the less. Perhaps we'll gravitate toward a tool which demands a payment based on % of spend.

Essentially I'm simply looking for a centralist point from which I can create, edit, monitor and manage Facebook Ads rather than from individual Facebook accounts.

          Thanks again for your contribution.

            Hi eXia,

I used to sell a lot of Fb adverts in the Uk and I can definitely give a thumbs up for brighter option SAM ad manager.

Its only useful if your setting up several accounts as otherwise it wont really make the task any easier than the Fb platform. They take a revenue of whatever you pay something like 2% (don't quote me on that ).

What sort of companies are you advertising?

In my experience it seems better as an brand exercise rather than a sales tool.
For brand awareness use the CPM (cost per impressions) model and for selling products or when you want someone to click use the CPC (cost per click) model.

The good thing about SAM is you can set up a serious amount of adverts per campaign very quickly and measure the success from the Analytics incredibly accurately.

Say for instance you have 2 images, 2 titles targeted at females and males aged 20-30 and 31-40.
This alone would create 32 adverts, as they all go out separately to measure the analytics correctly.

You can kind of white label the reports to send out.

PM me if you need any help as I still have a contact at the company on skype

              Thanks acs111,

In my research I had actually bookmarked brighter option SAM ad manager, and have sent a quote request. They would be a top contender. As mentioned if I do go with a third-party tool I will be looking for low cut % from spend.

We generally use FB ads to boost FB likes. Our clients range from IT companies (we use ads for promotions), to restaurants.

Thanks again for your tips and reach out.
