Landing Page for Local Business?

Is it worthwhile to have a landing page for PPC ads for a local business, specifically a replacement window/ home siding business?

It would seem that people who are about to spend $10,000 or more on a home remodeling project would need more than just a landing page to get them to request a quote.

Am I wrong? Is it possible to create that kind of value in a single landing page?

Or should I direct the PPC to the business website where they can build more confidence in the business before they request a quote.

I would use a landing page or a very short funnel process that you can track. But if the landing page is designed right and has the info people need then that would be the best bet

I think a landing page 'could' definitely be worth the investment. Unfortunately, no one in the Q&A section is going to be able to give you the right answer.

I know this isn't the answer you want to read, but you have to test it. Run PPC ads to both the Homepage of the Business Website and the landing page. Figure out which one performs better. Change up the landing page and test again. Make a change on the homepage and test again. Keep testing and improving. That's all you can do.

(Note: I'm assuming the landing page is going to be a part of the business website. Just not the homepage)

Also, you don't have a phone number on the landing page. If you want to track results... use a call tracking system like Ring Central or 1.800 Response (do your own research on pricing) Some people just don't want to give there email address to you but they'll certainly call if they see your add.

Also.. don't forget a good Page Name and Description for the landing page for the SERPs.
