Like the title says, about 3 weeks ago several websites linked to me. Those websites have very high and probably 100% of this board has heard of them.

I'm wondering how long it takes for OSE to recognize these links, and if my website's DA and mozTrust will increase as a result?

I'm sure someone on the staff could answer this better, but I believe the last update to the index was a week or two ago. So you're looking at probably 2-3 weeks for the next update. Your trust and DA may increase, if the links are followed and depending what pages on your site the links point at (home page vs inner pages).

But you can use - cache:www.sitelinkingtoyou.com/page - as a Google search to see if Google has crawled and indexed the page with links pointing to you. This is what matters in there actually being a ranking improvement to your site.

Thanks, Dan. The page was showing up in Google search results within about 25 minutes of it being published (one of the links is a HuffPost article, another is AOL). It goes directly to a homepage rather than an inner page, and it is followed.

            Hi Echolls,

You can view the Linkscape Update Calendar here:

            http://apiwiki.seomoz.org/w/page/25141119/Linkscape%20Schedule

Generally, the index updates around every 4 weeks or so. It takes a couple weeks to crawl the web (yes, all the important parts) and another couple of weeks to process the data. So for very recent links, it could take up to 6 weeks for them to show, depending on where they fall in the schedule.

Once the links are indexed, it's very likely your DA and mozTrust will be effected as well.

Best of luck with your SEO!

            • I am losing 1 point of DA at month? What could it be? I have noticed I have lost 50K (out of 300K) of internal links after a website update, could it be related to that?
