Depends on how often they index your pages, but generally a few weeks

There is no specific amount of time that Google takes to re-organize this. It needs to re-organize the canonicalization you have just done. (essentially 301'd the domain) resolving all the
If you are running PHP (drupal, Joomla or a static website etc), you might also want to make sure that the following pages are resolving to the main domain www.mysite.com. Check that all these below - resolve to the following domain *(www.mysite.com) if that is how you want it set up to show in the results.
- mysite.com
- www.mysite.com/index.php (or index.htm or index.html)
- mysite.com/index.php
I would also check your Google Webmaster tools to see if the resolving is taking place and in effect. Watch for 404 errors and such to allow you to keep track on these and clean them up with needed 301's as needed.
Hope this helps! Cheers.
