I would like to give away 10 tickets to a local event and if people want to participate they have to like us and share the post on their wall.

Everything happens from my website but i don't know how to track the people who have shared the post.

Anyone knows how to do this? Would be greatly appreciated!

Use a bit.ly url and track in bitly or an "add this" embeded button.

But this is only for click counts? I don't think it logs the person clicking it?

You should get a notification as a brand page of a mention, as during the share it creates a 'via' mention. I believe. I could be wrong now as things have changed a TON since I handed over my last brand page a couple months back.

Thanks for the interesting reply, so if it would still be the same i could find it in the Facebook Insights?

I'm looking around now and it looks as though it's only included in your insights if you are talking about an app, and doesn't appear (at least not easy to find) for a page. If you're logged in as an admin and interacting as that page though I know you're supposed to receive notifications on posts/comments/etc though so there must be something there. WebTrends also does a lot of work with FB data and tracking so they might be a good group to talk to for what you're looking for if FB doesn't automatically give it to you.
