It's your index file, I would suggest you leave it as is. Nothing to worry. You are good.

Thoughts about stub pages - 200 & noindex ok, or 404?
I would agree with all the comments on how to technically deal with the random pages, but it is a losing battle until you get your website database/templates under control. I once had a similar issue and had to work months to get a solution in place as the website would create all kinds of issues like this. We had to implement a system so that the creation of these pages would be minimized. I think the issue is that you need to make sure that any random page requests, make sure they get a 404 to start with so that the URL does not get indexed to start with. That said, all the random URLs that are already indexed, I like the 200 options with the noindex meta tag. My reasons: This is because otherwise with the 404s you get all these error messages that are meaningless in GWT. The noindex also gets the page out of the index. I have seen Google retry 404s on one of our sites, crazy. Ever since Google started showing soft 404s for 301s that redirect many pages to a single URL, I only try to use 301s on more of a one to one basis. Good luck.

Should I noindex, follow categories?
"If the categories are not important or you have posts that are unimportant or have duplicate content, then check the box noindex/follow." I'm a little confused by the latter part of your statement. I don't think categories are important, but I'm not sure what the rests means. Care to elaborate?

Will I still get Duplicate Meta Data Errors with the correct use of the rel="next" and rel="prev" tags?
http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2012/03/video-about-pagination-with-relnext-and.html 3. While it’s fine to set rel=”canonical” from a component URL to a single view-all page, setting the canonical to the first page of a parameter-less sequence is considered improper usage. We make no promises to honor this implementation of rel=”canonical.”

Why is my office page not being indexed?
It is indexed : https://www.google.com/search?q=http://www.sandersonweatherall.co.uk/office-to-let-leeds/ Yes that is good way to go about it . You can also jump in to Google Webmasters tools and try to fetch the page as Google : that way you can see if that page can be crawled update : You seem to have www.sandersonweatherall.co.uk/office-to-let/Leeds/ and www.sandersonweatherall.co.uk/office-to-let-leeds/ and you could type in nay thing at the end of http://www.sandersonweatherall.co.uk/office-to-let/ and the site throws out a page http://www.sandersonweatherall.co.uk/office-to-let/fghfghfghfgh/ ( i did not add a live link as i did not want that page to show up in the SERP ) not a good sign mate .

URL Folders and Naming Convention Changes?
Hi Omar, The URL structure really won't hurt you. In fact, your product-level URLs are better than most since they use actual keywords in them. Any more, Google and Bing do a good job of understanding all kinds of URLs. If you had a brand new site, I'd say go with the URL you suggested in (a) but for an existing site with thousands of pages, you won't see any noticeable impact by making this change. With your URLs, you want to make sure your internal linking structure makes it clear what pages are first, second, third, etc. in the hierarchy (how and where you place links). You also want to make sure Google and Bing are indexing all of those pages (meaning, Google and Bing can find all the URLs). So long as those two things are happening, you really do not have a problem. I hope that helps. Thanks, Matthew

Strategy for retiring brand
Thanks Kevin. I'm planning to link the email to the landing page, which will hopefully also pick up organic queries for the old site's name. I'll include a press release in the to-do list!

Long URL
I wouldn't concern myself with this error - many of the large media outlets have long URL's and no issue with traffic. I certainly wouldn't change URL's unless I know I am not getting the expected rankings and traffic to the page. If this is your one error on their report - you are in great shape. kudos.

How to tell how often Google crawls someone else's site
To get a rough idea , check the cache date in SERPS for a couple of days ad see how often that changes.

OpenSite Explorer doesn't show Twitter
Twitter links take ages to appear in OSE. We've got a corporate Twitter account that is very active and it still hasn't shown up in OSE even after a year or so of active use. The accounts of our competitors are 50/50 - some can be found in OSE, some not. I wouldn't worry about it too much - there's not much you can do about it. Just because OSE can't see it (yet) - doesn't mean that Google can't see it.

Would having the same paragraph on every product page be bad?
It's OK to have SOME content that's the same on every page, as long as you also have a substantial amount of unique content (otherwise we'd all get penalized for our header/footer). You may not need to do anything!

When keywords are on the top of the google search engine then what to do ?
My two keywords are on the top of my desired market place that means google.co.uk . So now what should I do to sustain this position??? Nice work! The first thing that you should do is praise God! After that, get right to work on more content for different keywords. If it starts ranking you will be riding the gravy train.

Weebly Blog
Thank you for helping. I think I'll just move it to a wordpress and solve it all instantly. The only duplicates are coming from the blog, moving it will fix it the lazy way...:). Thank you!

Is it a problem to have a homepage with a slug / URL ?
Is it possible for the CMS to include the canonical tags ? I would suggest you look into it and have www.mydomain.com/my-custom-url.html contain the canonical tag to www.mydomain.com which should also take care of this issue for the homepage. That way Google will deindex www.mydomain.com/my-custom-url.html and only index www.mydomain.com
