• I don't think SEOMoz has that option but you can check out ahrefs and majesticseo - they both track backlinks gained/lost.

 • The homepage is your most important page, most PR, naturally linked to most, TLD etc. If "cash for gold" is your most important target for your site you should target your homepage for that term if it is a highly competitive term and i'm sure it is.

 • Thank you for your help. How about using the TOP horizontal menu with this options: 1 inch thick filter 2 inches thick filters 4 inches thick filters 5 inches thick filters each option in the menu with a dropdown menu and 30 sizes option. example: 1 inch filter>>20x20x1 furnace filters when selecting 20x20x1, the will land on a page with a product option and select the options quality they want to buy. QUESTIONS: all my products descriptions are the same, the only difference is the filter size. Shopper are searching for there furnace filters sizes first, then they will select the quality options. Do you have any suggestions on How to improve my site architecture? this is the store: http://www.furnacefilterscanada.com I'm planning to have a BIG search box in the heade where the shopper can enter is filter sizes. ex: 20x20x1 Thank you for your help, BigBlaze

 • We can do that. I agree using WP will be a much better user experience. Is there any way to pass some of the SEO benefits of the blog to the ecommerce site?

 • Hey No problem at all. I would check out the All in One SEO config page, see if it can implement the rel=prev and rel=next tags, if not, switch to Yoast SEO or utilise some other plugin that will do the job. Also, the SEOMoz tool does not work with canonical URLs as of yet so this can generate some more false positives. All in all, not a big issue and one that is easy to solve. all the best! Marcus

 • Hi Jodi, If you are talking about 404 error in Google webmaster panel, I think now there is an option there to tell Google that following 404 problem has been fixed. You can select an URL and "Mark it as Fixed". Before they added this option, you should wait around 1 month for broken links to disappear from Webmaster Panel. Meanwhile your traffic has dropped with your keywords rankings. If you are using any software to track them, I am sure you will notice some negative changes. If you are not using, then better to do that, because this is one of the best ways to monitor your blog recovery. Hope it helps, Cheers, Russel

 • Unfortunately neither OSE nor the link: command will give you a complete list of your links.  I have had some sites where the list from WMT is 10x as many links as shown in OSE. Here is how you get a list of links from WMT: Click on Traffic, then "Links to your site".  Then click on Download latest links.  (see image below). I have found that this gives a very full list. Now, some will tell you that you will need to merge the list of links from WMT with ones you can get from OSE, ahrefs and Majestic. If you have less than 1000 links then I wouldn't worry about this. If you did have a LOT of links to your site then I would probably use ahrefs to get a list and combine it with the one that WMT gives you. A word of caution:  You can easily shoot yourself in the foot by trying to clean up a link profile because you can end up removing links that are actually good links.  I would not recommend doing this unless you have a warning of unnatural links in your WMT.  If you feel that you have been affected by Penguin, then removing spammy links could help but at this point we haven't seen a whole lot of credible cases of recovery.  So, be careful! downloadlatestlinks1.png

 • Thanks, Kevin... We're moving a HUGE, very old site - in pieces no less - running dual environments. Knowingly - this is not the right way to do it. But, so far so good. Overall search referrals are trending up still. Looking for some of those horror stories to show some senior folks (not so familiar with Search) that what we've done so far is REALLY good - and could have been much worse! Appreciate it. Will keep looking for some specific stories/articles.

 • Or here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MswMYk05tk&feature=plcp Good overview from Google's point of view (Matt Cutts - Web Master central) Personally however I would go with the folder option. my 2 cents.
